Ricardo Award

Prof Markus Kraft (Director) and Dr Jethro Akroyd (Principal Engineer) received the Institute of Physics Ricardo Award for their contributions to the thesis ‘Exploring the internal structure of soot particles using nanoindentation: A reactive molecular dynamics study’ (Link).

 


Santander Universities SME Internship Award

CMCL won the Santadner Universities SME Internship Award (2017) in conjunction with the Judge Business School.


AEI Tech Award 2010

The SRM Engine Suite has helped CMCL bag the highly-prized AEI 2010 Tech Award in the category of “simulation software”. From the many technologies exhibited at the SAE 2010 World Congress, the editors of Automotive Engineering magazine selected ten innovative technologies in different categories to receive this award. CMCL received the AEI 2010 Tech award in the category of simulation software.


Industry Innovator

CMCL is recognised as an SAE Industry Innovator (2015, 2011 and 2010) for its software products, kinetics & SRM Engine Suite and MoDS at the SAE World Congress, USA.


Best Paper Award

A paper entitled “Sustainable Management of Industrial Collaborations in E-Lab Learning” written by CMCL, University of Cambridge, and Delft University of Technology, won the best paper award at the 3rd International  REV Conference on Remote Engineering & Virtual Instrumentation held 29 June – 2 July 2010 in Stockholm, Sweden.
