March 2012: Advanced Power Generation Technology Forum

APGTF (Advanced Power Generation Technology Forum) Workshop 'Carbon Capture & Storage - Can the UK maintain a leadership role?' on the 14th March 2012, cmcl innovations are presenting some of the key findings from the TESBiC (Techno-Economic Study of Biomass to CCS) project at the the Conference Centre (1 Victoria Street), Westminster, London.

January 2012: TESBiC project webpage goes live

We are pleased  to announce  that the webpage for the TESBiC (Techno-Economic Study of Biomass to CCS ) project, commissioned by the  Energy Technologies Institute  (ETI), is now live.

December 2011: Expansion of the SRM SUITE Academic Program

We launched the SRM SUITE academic programme in October, 2011. We have had an excellent response to this launch from leading universities and organizations from Europe, North America and Asia. This has enabled us to establish dozens of new academic partnerships.

August 2011: New member
We are please to announce that Jethro Akroyd has joined the CMCL team. Jethro has recently completed a PhD at the University of Cambridge where he has developed numerical methods to model coupled nanoparticle formation and reaction processes in CFD.

After recently completing his bachelors degree at the University of Huddersfield, Alex Martin has joined the CMCL team as a Product development engineer.

February 2011: cmcl sponsors PhD internship through Industrial Mathematics Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP).
cmcl innovations will be sponsoring a PhD internship focusing on Accounting for uncertainties in assessment of carbon abatement technologies. The aims of the project is to develop systematic mathematical methods for system level modelling of carbon-negative bio-energy processes.
