The srm suite is an advanced engine in-cylinder combustion software package used to simulate engine applications such as motorcycle, passenger car, motor sport, truck, locomotive, marine and power generation.
Through the rapid solution of thermo and turbulent gas dynamics including chemical kinetics, the srm suite simulates combustion dynamics and emissions in conventional and advanced engine operating modes to allow a complete solution for your present day and next-generation engine technologies.

- Simulation of conventional combustion such as Spark Ignition (SI) and Compression Ignition Direct Injection (CIDI) combustion
- Simulation of advanced combustion modes such as Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition (HCCI) / Low temperature Combustion (LTC) / Controlled Auto-Ignition (CAI) / Partially Premixed Compression Ignition (PPCI)
- Crank angle resolved combustion characteristics (heat release rate, combustion phasing and duration, and in-cylinder pressure)
- Crank angle evolution of chemical species including intermediates (OH, formaldehyde) and emissions (CO, HC, NOx and soot)
- Capable of simulating user-provided fuel models. e.g. conventional (diesel and gasoline) as well as alternative (natural gas, ethanol, biodiesel) fuels
- Integrated detailed soot model: Detailed population balance soot model enables calculation of soot morphology, composition and detailed particle size distribution.
- Thermal analysis – Predictions of exhaust gas temperatures
